Student Import Terms

Roster files may contain student personal data. Upload them only when you are authorized to do so for school administration.

Upload only the minimum data needed. Do not include unrelated personal, confidential, or sensitive information.

OCR extraction runs locally in your browser using on-device language models. The original image or PDF is not sent to a cloud OCR provider. If you enable optional AI classification, only the OCR text from the selected file is sent to Groq; the original image and PDF stay on your device. Names you review and import are sent to the application server.

OCR results are suggestions. Review, correct, and remove unrelated text before importing any names.

You are responsible for verifying that every imported name is accurate and appropriate for your school.

The app processes the selected file locally for OCR and does not intentionally upload or keep the original image or PDF for extraction. If optional AI classification is enabled, the OCR text is sent to Groq for classification and is not retained by this app as a source file. Names are stored as student records only when you choose to import them.

Operational logs may retain request metadata, processing duration, counts, and errors, but not the selected file, OCR text, or extracted names.
